Honoring a Champion for Our Scholars: Maleah Hill

FROM THE MINNESOTA CHILL FOUNDATION TEAM

Minnesota CHILL Foundation is proud to recognize Maleah Hill for her unwavering commitment to our mission and her exceptional impact as a cornerstone of our Child Fitness for Kids program. Maleah’s dedication, consistency, and heart for service have helped shape an experience that continues to change the lives of the scholars we serve.

For several years, Maleah has generously invested her time and energy into a program designed to support youth through a nine-month after-school experience and an intensive six-week summer session. Her presence has been steady and meaningful, providing encouragement, structure, and care to scholars throughout each program cycle. In 2025, Minnesota CHILL Foundation expanded the program to include academic support in reading and math after identifying a growing need among participants. The results were remarkable. By the end of the cycle, many scholars advanced at least two academic levels, with several exceeding that milestone. These outcomes reflect the power of intentional support, consistency, and community.

What makes Maleah’s commitment even more inspiring is the balance she maintains outside of the program. As an accomplished softball player at Woodbury High School and a member of the Midwest Speed 16U National Team, her schedule demands discipline, focus, and countless hours of training. Even so, Maleah continues to show up for our scholars with reliability and purpose. Her dedication demonstrates that leadership is not defined by convenience, but by choice.

Maleah is deeply loved by the scholars she serves, not because she seeks recognition, but because she leads with patience, kindness, and genuine care. She takes time to understand each scholar individually, meeting them where they are and encouraging growth at a pace that feels empowering rather than pressured. Her ability to connect, uplift, and inspire has made her a trusted mentor and a powerful role model within the program.

Maleah Hill embodies the mission and values of Minnesota CHILL Foundation. She understands the importance of giving back and uses her leadership, compassion, and influence to invest in the next generation. Her example reminds us that meaningful change happens when those who are gifted choose to serve others.

We are deeply grateful for Maleah Hill and honored to celebrate her continued impact on our scholars, our programs, and our community.
