The Minnesota CHILL Foundation extends heartfelt gratitude to Nikkie Purvis and Michael Johnson of Bremer Bank, alongside our valued partners at The Sanneh Foundation, for their continued belief in the mission and impact of the CHILL Tech program. Over the past two years, your support has played a critical role in expanding access to technology education and workforce readiness for students who deserve every opportunity to succeed.
As Adam Thielen steps into retirement, the Minnesota CHILL Foundation pauses to celebrate not only an extraordinary NFL career, but a legacy rooted in service, generosity, and community impact. Adam represents the very best of what it means to be Minnesota homegrown. His journey from local roots to professional excellence inspired fans on the field, but his commitment off the field has left an even deeper imprint on the lives of young people and families.

March 2, 2026, the ribbon has officially been cut on the city’s first city-owned gym inside the new Teen Center. TThe Minnesota CHILL Foundation (MCF) is grateful to stand alongside the Thielen Foundation and the City of Brooklyn Park in helping bring this 10-million-dollar project to life. The gym itself became possible after MCF reached out to its partners at the Thielen Foundation to help secure the funding needed to make this important addition a reality. With the leadership of Mayor Hollies Winston, and the dedication of the city council members and the Zanewood Recreation staff, and the steady guidance by Marcus Hill as the project manager along the city’s Park and Recreation departments team, this center now stands as a lasting commitment to the future of our community.
Leadership, inspiration, and purpose filled the room as more than 1,500 accomplished women gathered in Las Vegas for the 20th anniversary of the Women of Power Summit hosted by Black Enterprise. Held at the iconic Bellagio Resort & Casino, the event continues to be one of the most influential gatherings dedicated to advancing women in leadership across industries. Among the distinguished attendees was Cindy Hill of the Minnesota CHILL Foundation, representing the organization’s ongoing commitment to empowering youth and strengthening communities through mentorship, technology, and wellness programs.
The 4th Annual Cheryl Magazine Women of Influence Awards Luncheon was a powerful reminder that true influence is not about visibility, it is about impact that continues long after the moment has passed. For Cindy Hill, attending this experience alongside her daughter, Melanie Hill, made the evening even more meaningful. It was a reflection of legacy in motion, a beautiful intersection of where she has been, what she has built, and what she is continuing to pass forward.
Minnesota CHILL Foundation was honored to spend the day in Brooklyn Park, first participating in the Champlin Park Career and College Fair alongside an incredible lineup of institutions and organizations all committed to one shared mission: opening doors for the next generation. From universities to trade programs and industry leaders, the room was filled with opportunities designed to help students see what is possible and take confident steps toward their future. A special thank you to Regan Shaare for the invitation and for continuing to create spaces where students can explore, connect, and envision their next chapter.
The doors are officially open, and with them, a new chapter begins.
The Teen Center The Wood Zanewood Recreation Center stands as more than just a new facility. It represents a commitment to creating intentional spaces where young people feel seen, supported, and inspired to explore who they are and who they can become. Every detail of this center reflects a vision rooted in opportunity, creativity, and connection.
Cindy Hill and Chuck Hill, co-founders of Minnesota CHILL Foundation, had the honor of attending The Link’s sold-out 10th Annual Gala at the Armory, joining a powerful room of leaders, advocates, and changemakers committed to creating meaningful, lasting impact. The evening was more than a celebration, it was a collective commitment to showing up for youth who deserve support, stability, and opportunity.
