Spotlight

David Roddy, From Minnesota Chill Basketball to Colorado State University!

Isaiah J. Downing-USA TODAY Sports

“You might pull your measuring stick out and say, ‘Oh, he’s a football player.’ No, he’s not. He's a winner,” Thorson says. “Whatever he chooses to do, he’s going to do great at it.”

David Roddy, a former player with Minnesota Chill Basketball, and a stand out star at Breck School in Minneapolis, MN, is currently rivaling his contemporaries and leading the pack as an unmatched and highly watched Forward at Colorado State University.

Trained by Former NBA D League player and Minnesota Chill Basketball Director, Marcus Hill, Roddy exemplifies the Chill journey of building student athletes into future leaders.

David Roddy is definitely a Minnesota Chill Hero!

He was nominated for the prestigious Karl Malone Award via HOOP.

Currently, Roddy was traded from the Grizzlies to the Suns on February 8th as part of a three-team trade that sent draft-pick compensation to Memphis and Royce O’Neale to Phoenix, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports.
