Influence That Lives Beyond the Moment

FROM THE MINNESOTA CHILL FOUNDATION TEAM

The 4th Annual Cheryl Magazine Women of Influence Awards Luncheon was a powerful reminder that true influence is not about visibility, it is about impact that continues long after the moment has passed. For Cindy Hill, attending this experience alongside her daughter, Melanie Hill, made the evening even more meaningful. It was a reflection of legacy in motion, a beautiful intersection of where she has been, what she has built, and what she is continuing to pass forward.

The room was filled with women who embody strength, purpose, and unwavering commitment to making a difference. Each story, each recognition, and each moment on that stage carried a depth that could be felt. This was not just a celebration, it was a gathering of women who understand that influence is earned through consistency, resilience, and the courage to show up fully, even when the journey is not easy.
There was something powerful about experiencing it together as mother and daughter. It served as a reminder that what we model matters, that the way we live, lead, and serve becomes the blueprint for the next generation. Being present in that space reinforced the importance of continuing to walk boldly in purpose, knowing that someone is always watching, learning, and being inspired.

For Cindy, the evening was both grounding and motivating. It affirmed that the work being done, the lives being touched, and the seeds being planted all matter. The Women of Influence experience was not just about honoring excellence, it was about celebrating a legacy that continues to grow, evolve, and inspire far beyond one night.
