6-week CHILL Fitness program

• Capitol Hill Magnet, Hazel Park Preparatory Academy

• Summer brought a 6-week CHILL Fitness program at Capitol Hill Magnet, Hazel Park Preparatory Academy and Fairs School serving 140 scholars. We started CHILL Literacy, a new Reading skills support for kindergarteners and first-graders.

Distributed School Supplies to 600 Scholars

• We distributed school supplies to 600 scholars at Capitol Hill Magnet School in St. Paul and at the Zanewood Recreation Center in Brooklyn Park. We are equipping them for success.

• Last Saturday the First Lady of Brooklyn Park Latrice Winston's held a community evening event at the club house of the Edinburgh golf course to unite, honor and "Celebrate Women", I was honored to be one of them for the work I do in the City of Brooklyn Park.
