I want to give a huge thank you to the incredible staff at Zanewood Rec Center in Brooklyn Park for hosting the Third Annual Anti-Violence Game Night for our youth. It was a successful evening filled with games, food, and strong community support.
Many parents came out to cheer on their children, and the energy in the room reflected the power of togetherness. Events like this are so important—because when we create safe spaces, our youth feel seen, heard, and empowered to excel.
I also found out Zanewood has a debate club that meets twice a week, and the excitement from the youth about it was undeniable! This center continues to do remarkable work, and it deserves our ongoing support.
