The Minnesota CHILL Foundation extends a sincere thank you to everyone who contributed to the remarkable success of our 2nd Annual Golf Tournament on June 10th, 2024. The day was filled with excitement as one hundred passionate golfers joined forces with twenty-four generous sponsors and contributors, alongside over fifteen dedicated volunteers.
The proceeds from the tournament will significantly support our initiatives to empower the youth in our community. These funds will aid in:
- CHILL TECH: A 24-week paid IT support internship that equips people of color with essential skills and opens up career opportunities in the tech industry.
- CHILL College Readiness: A comprehensive program that offers financial management education, test preparation, application assistance, and guidance for securing sports scholarships, particularly at Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs).
- Scholarships for Youth: Providing crucial support for spring and summer basketball programs as well as academic tutoring to develop future leaders.
We are deeply grateful for your support and participation, which plays a crucial role in making a positive impact on the lives of young people. Together, we are building a brighter future for our community.
